Valley of Fire

We went to Valley of Fire for Presidents Day for a little hike. The kids just love trying to climb the tallest rock they can find. And explore every hole and crevice. They could spend days on one hike alone.
This trail was fun because there were quite a few petroglyphs to look at.
On our way home,  I made the kids change to get pictures. They always hate this, but I beg and bribe and usually they cooperate for a few minutes.
I recently learned how to add skies to photographs. It is not something I will do a lot (it is a little time consuming) and I'm still learning how perfect it, but I like what it can do to a photo. When you shoot at dusk and are trying to get your subjects exposed correctly, it seems like the sky gets blown out...Anyways...here is an example...

Rest of February

Super bowl Sunday. Jared really wants to recreate this picture every year.
Last year for comparison (Lyla wasn't in it because she didn't have a Seahawks shirt)

We had a FHE on keeping the Sabbath day holy. I saw this on Pinterest and had to copy.
The weather here has been perfect so we walked to Noelle's house for a playdate.
Target with Josie
This dog LOVES to snuggle
Waiting for a treat
Getting lunch after Devin's basketball game
Adalynn getting an award at school for reading
Lyla takes her little dog (she names her Tramp) with us everywhere
I don't think the dollar store has quite enough Valentines Day balloons...
A few from the studio to wrap this up.

Valentines

I love Valentines Day and can't wait for February to get here so we can start celebrating.
I finally made a Valentines family bingo game (I've been wanting to do it for a few years). So fun seeing all my cute nieces and nephews in a game! We played it for FHE on Monday and they loved it.
A little treat for the teachers
Valentines craziness around here!
Took some pictures in the studio
Devin even let me take ONE picture.
Made a few special Valentines to give to our good friends.
I did my mailboxes like I have in the past, but I wanted to do something special on Valentines Day. So I bought the kids these huge cards gave them to them Sunday morning when they woke up.
I made these for desert.
We had a "fancy" candlelit dinner. Well, as fancy as we get around here.
Go grateful for my sweet little family that I love so very much!
