9 Days until Christmas! 9!
I've been busy making treats for friends, neighbors, and teachers.

Lyla loves helping me in the kitchen

Another newborn session. This is our friend Karen's little guy.
I'm pretty excited because I made a newborn posing bean bag (you can buy them but they are so expensive!) and a backdrop stand. I've already used them in two sessions and I love the setup. It makes it so much easier to get certain shots.
You can see the beanbag in the top picture. and what it looks like with a blanket in the second.

Nativity

Tuesday we went to the Live Nativity.
A few pictures before leaving.

Lyla was so cute during the performance. She would not stop asking questions. I hope the people around us weren't bothered. "Are those angles real?" "Are they mean (the soldiers)? "Where is the baby Jesus?" The questions kept coming and coming.

After, Adalynn was determined to walk up and see the baby even though it was crazy busy. We finally made it and even got a picture (with another random girl and Mary's eyes closed!). But Adalynn just had to see the baby.

A better pictures of Mary and Joseph.

We haven't seen Jared's brother Aaron in about 3 1/2 years so to say we were excited that he was coming to visit is an understatement! It was just Aaron this time (Laurel is still teaching). We had so much fun with him. I sure enjoyed having another person to run errands with me and go out to lunch! I'm not sure he was thrilled to run errands, but he is a great sport and dropped off/picked up kids, went to gymnastics, went shopping and even went to the gym with me.

After we picked him up from the airport we went to the Bellagio. It was such a nice night. We went outside to watch a water show then we went home.

The next day Aaron and I hung out a bit and ran a few errands. Aaron is all about trying new restaurants so he told me he was going take me to try some new foods. He took me to try Indian food for the first time and I really liked it. It was spicy, but good!
Friday night we went to look at Christmas lights and then went out for cheesecake. The kids were little hooligans at the restaurant so it might be a while before Aaron wants a kid!

Saturday we had the Boulder City parade. We spent some time at the park before the parade.

After the parade, we went to the Cactus gardens to look at lights. It is too dark to get a decent picture so I didn't even bother with my camera.

Monday was his last day here. We took Lyla to her last gymnastics class and then Aaron took me out to another place I have never had (Thai food) then we went to Cost Plus where he bought a cake that is popular in Italy and some Japanese candy.
He left late Monday night. Devin and Adalynn would not stop crying when he left. It was sweet. I miss him too. He sure makes me laugh and he is so fun with the kids.

Decorating the Tree

Thanksgiving

We were in AZ for Thanksgiving! We had 4 of the 6 siblings there. Steph was in Oregon and James and Karrah (and baby James) are in PA.

Cousins
My parents put up this teepee. The kids thought it was so cool. My mom also has a bunch of Indian costumes so they dressed up in those.

Everyone had fun with Devin's new toy.

Bruce gets to try on a wig.
My kids love Bruce!

Sadie loved Arizona.
Happy Birthday Devin!

Saturday we went on a hike down the creek. It is so pretty there. It kinda makes me sad that all the water is gone. When we were kids we went swimming here all the time.

Picking apples in the orchard. There were only a few left.

My mom made Devin a piƱata for his birthday.
