Last weekend the kids had a four day weekend. I decided I didn't want to wait until summer to meet Tyler (my brother's baby), plus I have been lonely and stressed with Jared gone every night since Christmas (minus a few nights here and there). I'm so glad we went. There is something so special about a brand new baby. I'm glad I got to hold and snuggle him and visit with my family.
We left Friday night and got into Phoenix late. The first night we stayed with my sister Jen. It was fun seeing her home and hanging out with her, even if it was for a short time.
Saturday we headed to my brother's house. Devin was so excited and made me stop on our way there so he could pick out a toy and outfit. He wanted a shirt that said "Our new baby" but we didn't find one so we settled on a different outfit. Devin was so cute the whole time--he was so into Tyler and wanted to hold him a lot. He probably got to hold him more than I did.
We went on a little walk to a park later that day. It was really warm...and Devin had ben asking if he could jump in the pool so I finally just let him. The water was cold! He didn't stay in long. Addie jumped in once also.
Tyler did this a lot with his hand---he likes to have it by his face. It was so sweet.
That night we had dinner with Jen and Jake and played a very fun game!
The next morning. All the grandkids.
After a while we headed to Payson to see my parents. Also my brother James was in town with his new girlfriend so we had to meet her.
My Grandpa holding Tyler.
Jen and Jake!
I probably should have named this post, "Pictures of people holding Tyler." I just couldn't help myself. He is a really cute baby.
