I found the plans to make this doll bed on Knock off wood. While I was in AZ my Grandpa and brother pretty much made it for me---I think it turned out cute. And Lyla is wearing another super cute headband Sam made for me. I have the best sister-in-law! I showed her a picture of a headband I wanted and she just went ahead and made one!

Believe it or not, I still have more to post after this! It was so nice just being able to take pictures when it was convenient. Almost every day I would just wait for her to get very sleepy and take her in the studio and do a few different shots. The first two weeks really are the best time to get those newborn pictures so I took as many as I could--and I'm glad I did when she was still so sleepy and had nice clear skin. She is already awake so much now and, like Adalynn right around 4 weeks, she has some major baby acne.
Sam bought Lyla this outfit and made the bow--and I am in love with it! Is it not the cutest thing ever?! Thank you so much Sam!
Last Thursday, Adalynn had her third birthday. I think she would have loved a birthday party with all of her friends, but with a new baby I decided not to. It was still a special little day for her--she didn't stop smiling the whole day. Devin was so cute also. He helped pick out all the presents and he stayed up Wednesday night to help decorate. I think he was just as excited as Adalynn, which was sweet.
We took Addie out to lunch to Red Robin. A few of the waitresses sang to her and she got a balloon and ice cream, which she liked. Here she is opening her card from my mom and dad.
Later that night opening presents. She is totally, 100% into princesses now. I kinda wondered if she would catch the "princess bug." Well she has. And every present she got was something princess. She was in heaven.
Blowing out her candles--It took her about a full minute to blow them out. I tried to post the video, because it is hilarious, but it isn't working for some reason. But she was just blowing and blowing and she finally turned to us and said something like "I not blow them out." She was so excited for her princess cake.
