Every week in my photography class we have a shooting assignment and then we show our best image to the class and they critique it. Everyone votes on their favorite and that lucky duck gets extra credit. Well guess who earned a little extra credit last night? Me!
We did these in the studio on campus, which was a lot of fun. The pure white background is a little boring and sterile, but that was part of the assignment.
Next week we are doing dark/moody pictures. My friend Steph just had her baby and I am going to try and talk her into letting me take their pictures together. I will post those after we take them.
I sometimes think it is funny that we blog about anything and everything, but it gives me something to do while Jared is studying into the wee hours of the night. I just know once Jared is done with the bar my blogging activity will be way down.
Adalynn had the 9 month checkup today. Not much to report. She is 18.3 pounds and 27 inches long (both are around 50%).
A quick list of her favorite things
Me--She still has major stranger anxiety so we are pretty much attached at the hip
Fruit and vegetables. Cheese. Cheerios. Anything she finds on the floor. She is not a picky eater...yet
Chewing on our cell phones
Eating toilet paper
And her dislikes
Riding in her carseat
Pretty much anyone except me
I love you Adalynn! Dad does too! And even though Devin likes to tackle, hit, pull, drag, and bite you, I am pretty sure he loves you too.
Another fun little outing with Hannah and Steph (and probably the last one for a while--Steph should be having a bebe any day!!!!)
I have heard about the county fair, but never even thought about going. Steph wanted to go, and since we are both husbandless we took the kids and went together. Devin has been on track break, so we have been spending a lot of time with Miss Hannah. Some days they get a long very well and other days they get sick of each other. Thankfully, today they were pals.
Steph and I took the kids to a little Easter carnival on Saturday that the rec center put on. Devin and Addie met the Easter Bunny.
They had a bounce house and a blow up maze type thing, which they loooved.
They also had a few games, crafts, and temporary tattoos (which struck me a funny. I don't know about you, but when I think of Easter one of the first things that pops in my head is temporary tattoos? Wait...maybe not???)
Moving on.... Miss Adalynn clapping
Devin really enjoyed this. It is sorta a home made window decoration. You just take contact paper, paint it, cut out your shape and slap it on a window.
Here is an activity I think I am going to do with my primary class and our family and I thought I would share. I'm sure most of you have seen it.
