Devin's TV Shows/Movies

Well, it is official. Devin now likes watching TV and movies. For the longest time, he wouldn't sit still long enough to enjoy a show, but times have changed. As of today he really likes Shrek (seriously, have you watched that show lately? I cringe every time Shrek says ass because I am sure that will be Devin's next word), Sesame Street, Clifford, Curious George. Oh and he loves Barney. Remember making fun of Barney? I can't do that anymore---Devin just won't have it.

Devin and Hannah

I know Devin is only 22 months, but I think he is in a pretty serious relationship. He met Hannah about a year ago and they are together at least a couple times a week. I guess since Stephanie (Hannah's mom) and I are always there, maybe we shouldn't worry. Still...
Together in the corner...They both look a little guilty, don't they?
I think they were actually fighting over the piano in this picture. Yes, they definitely have a love hate relationship. Stephanie and I almost have to put the carseats on opposite sides of the car because anytime we go somewhere they fight the whole way there and the whole way home. If that isn't true love, I don't know what is.
Their first kiss...how sweet.

Stephanie and I both agree that these would make excellent engagement pictures. Bye-the-way this picture was taken at the same place as the first picture.

Bye Bye Summer, Hello Fall

Can I just say that I am so excited that Fall is here! Devin and I have been walking to the park and library just about everyday this past week and it is so nice. I just have to brag that Vegas really is great if you can survive the summer and the scorching 116 degree weather. You cant beat the mild fall and winter. I never thought I would appreciate that until I had a son who is addicted to the outdoors. Anyways, I thought I would share with everyone our summer and what went down.

In May, Devin and I went to AZ to visit family. Devin LOVED it--he was especially excited about all the animals. While there we had a little cinco de mayo party.

We also drove up to Utah to do the race for the cure with Justin, Michelle and Josh. I ran the whole thing, unlike last year, but have some major improving before next year.

While In Utah, we spent a whole day in Provo visiting friends and eating at our fav restaurants. This was at a BBCUE place...Devin was asleep so we put him in the window...then Justin and Josh made the sign. to make a long story short, people outside thought it was hilarious--and we had no offers.

We went camping for the first time as a family. Devin actually had a good time...for the most part.

We went to Seattle in July. This was at Pikes Place.
Jetty Island
Michelle had her baby (Yes! I am an aunt) and they blessed him in August. Devin finally has a cousin.

And we went swimming a lot too! Of course. We would have gone much more, but Devin doesn't really like the pool that much. For some reason, though he loved the hot tube. I don't know about that kid. It would be like 115 outside and he wanted to be in the hot tube.

Where is the darn remote!

For days we couldn't find our remote. We looked everywhere..I tore apart every room looking for it and it was nowhere. We had given it up for lost (probably another item to be thrown away by Devin), but then one day I happened to put a tape into our VCR (who uses VCR's anymore) and alas it was there! The very next day, Devin sneakily tried it again...not this time bucko!

Devins new favorites

Devin sure likes his DVD cases. Yes, he must take them with us everywhere we go. The gym, the grocery store, church, and even nap time. And he isn't attached to one in particular. The Wiggles, Shrek, basically anything Disney. I just think it is funny that instead of being attached to a blanket or stuffed animal it is DVD cases. What a weird boy I have.

Lets try this bloggin thing...

I thought I would try this blogging thing. Who even knows who will be looking at this, but maybe I can convert people to blogs. At least it is another way to keep in touch...Devin is excited about it too.
